Organisation & People

Our company mission is Enterprising Circus for a social purpose

Our young people are the citizens of the future:
invest, believe, support.

Organised Kaos Youth Circus Ltd is a not for profit Social Enterprise.

We endeavor to be very Social and very Enterprising.

The social aims of the company are encompassed in our acronym KAOS = Keeping Adolescents Off The Streets. We do this by creating youth-led circus activities in our space on a daily basis, which in turn develops our young people’s transferable life skills.

This short video describes what we are about. We were awarded a grant from Avivia Community Fund to support our work.

We also provide volunteer and employment opportunities for our young people and volunteers within the project, creating a diverse skill set and a solid professional reference for them to secure gainful employment when they leave education.

We trade as a social enterprise and use all profits to support our young people, volunteers, training space and equipment.

By re-investing all profits back into the project, we are able to keep the costs down for our young people and local community, making us affordable, ethical, and with the needs of our Community at the centre of our development.

The Aims of  Organised Kaos Youth Circus are

Create a Centre of Excellence for Youth Circus Training in The Borough of Neath and Port Talbot.

Motivate Young People and Adults to become more involved in their Community.

Encourage Local People to Participate in the Arts.

Empower Young People and Adults to realise their Potential.

Create Sustainable Employment.

Organised Kaos Youth Circus Ltd has been awarded Flagship Status  under the Collaborative Communities initiative as a Social Enterprise.

Our Funders

We have been successful in securing funding from a broad range of funders to support our community  – the development of our circus training centre and the young people that we are working with.

Volunteers are at our heart

From helping out with classes both aerial and ground-based to working with us at Festivals and other professional events, there are always opportunities to become involved. You don’t have to have circus skills to volunteer with us.
